Experience & Expertise

Hello! I’m Shonna Sherrill, and I’m thrilled to share a bit about my journey in the world of finance, real estate and business management.

My business career began with a CPA firm in Marietta, GA. I was Initially hired to do data entry after graduating from accounting school, but quickly engaged in "client write-up" activities,  which included coding/classifying income and expenses, making journal entries, preparing financial statements and reviewing them with the CPA's and clients. Additionally, I helped the firm research and install a new computer system and transferred our clients to the new server, which required bookkeeping knowledge and complete trust from my employers.

 

I went on to work as the Staff Accountant for a local HVAC company, where I set up a computer system for that business as well. Eventually I moved into the sales and management arena in commercial HVAC, and once again, helped to design and install an automated system for the company.

 

Fast forward … I have been in the real estate industry for several years and have been recognized as a top producer each year since going full time in 2016. I've always done my own bookkeeping and sent it to my CPA to do my taxes. She shared with me that there is a great need for bookkeeping among agents in our industry and suggested I offer my services, hence, Bookkeeping Solutions for Realtors began.
